Google Developer Identification Process
All developers are required to undergo the account verification process to adhere to the updated Play Console Requirements policy.
This guide is designed to assist you in completing the Google Identification process, a mandatory step for the Account Holder. Each developer account has a specified deadline for completing the verification process. Google allows approximately a month from the verification date to finalize the process. Kindly access your Google Play Console to ascertain your verification deadline.
Prerequisites
You will need the following information:
Only the Account Holder is authorized to complete the verification process.
Your organization's D-U-N-S number.
Number of employees in your organization.
Organization phone number.
Organization website (optional).
Contact details for verification purposes (will not be displayed on Google Play):
Name.
Email.
Preferred language.
Phone number.
Contact details for the developer profile (will be displayed on Google Play):
Developer phone number.
Developer email address.
Steps
Log into the Google Play Console for your developer account. If you are within a month of the verification due date you should have access to the “Get started” button to start the process. Click the “Get started” button to continue

You’ll be provided with a pop up with the steps you are about to undertake. Click “Start” to continue

The following page will require you to link an existing payment profile or create a new one. Click “create or select payment profile” to continue

Enter your organizations D-U-N-S number and click “Next”

Confirm your D-U-N-S number and info and click “Confirm” to continue

You will have created a payment profile if one didn’t exist before. Click “Got it” to continue

Link the appropriate payment profile (the one you created or an existing one) and confirm the information is correct. Click “Next” to continue

Enter the details of your organization and click “Next” when ready

Enter details to contact you if Google needs to verify any information. This information will not be shown on Google Play

Enter details regarding the developer profile, this will be displayed on Google Play. Click “Next” when ready.

Review your public developer profile details and check the “Acknowledgement” box. Allowing consent for Google to show organization contact info on the Google Play page. Click “Save” if everything looks correct.

Google will process the provided information and might contact you to verify any organization details. Please take note of the warning that if Google cannot verify the organization, your app may be removed. Ensuring that the contact information is accurate and accessible is crucial.

After 24 hours of your submission a new option will become available in which you will be requested to upload an official document to verify your organization. Additionally you will need to upload an identification document for yourself. Click “Get Started” to start the process

Review the requibments and click “Start verification” once you have the necessary documents available to upload

Follow the steps outlined and upload a document to verify your organization followed by a document to verify yourself

Once all done you’ll get this final pop up that the verification process is in progress. Keep an eye out via your email and potentially via the contact number you submitted in case Google decides to reach out. Within a few days you should get an update on the verification process and if it was completed or if Google needs any additional information from you.
