Ritual & HqO

Integrating Ritual to your HqO app allows you to provide a seamless food & beverage experience from restaurants available via Ritual. You can also discuss adding your in-building restaurant or coffee shop to Ritual.

User Experience

  • Select utility button relevant to Food Ordering (customizable)

  • Redirect to Ritual flow → user automatically signed into Ritual account 

Available Functionality

  • Order ahead for contactless pickup & delivery.

  • Order for delivery to on-premise locations, such as conference rooms.

  • Order from table with QR code or NFC Tap.

  • Optional neighborhood view connects users with the best nearby restaurants on Ritual.

Regional Availability

  • Only available in select cities in North America and the United Kingdom. Availability is determined on a per building basis.

Onboarding Restaurants to Ritual

Onboarding restaurants in your area

If there is a restaurant or coffee shop in your area that you would like to appear in the HqO app, please reach out to your HqO Customer Success Manager.

Onboarding restaurants in your building

If you would like to onboard a restaurant within your building to the Ritual platform, you can start the onboarding process by reviewing the basics of HqO’s Ritual offering with the restaurant.

Before contacting your in-building merchant, please notify your HqO Customer Success Manager or Implementation Manager to provide background information.

Information to Collect

Find out from the restaurant:

  • If they accept online orders on any other platforms

  • What Point of Sale (POS) they’re using

    • Ritual can integrate with Square, Toast, and Clover

    • Not one of these? No problem! We can send the restaurant a free Android for receiving orders

  • If they’re using a Point of Sale Aggregator like OLO or Chowly

    • Ritual can integrate with most POS Aggregators

  • Whether they would like to onboard to both HqO and Ritual, or just the HqO app

Once you have this information, or if you or the restaurant have any questions, please reach out to your HqO Customer Success Manager or Implementation Manager

Introductory Email

When you reach out to the restaurant, please include the restaurant name in the subject line and cc your HqO Customer Succes Manager.

Please feel free to customize the email in any way to make it more personal.

We’re excited to announce that [LANDLORD/PROP TEAM] is launching a food ordering amenity program through our [APP NAME] tenant app that is powered by Ritual. This will provide your store with exclusive access to our office tenants, driving your sales and introducing you to new customers. Companies within the building will also use the [APP NAME] app to manage their food ordering and perks, providing special offers to spend at your store.

To ensure you are a part of this exciting program, I’ve copied [Customer Success Manager] from the [APP NAME] app team to arrange a call as we'd love to have you as an option for our tenants to order from. Please reply letting the HqO team know when you're available for a call and they will set up a time to chat.

Where HqO can/cannot deliver Ritual
