SAML Partner Integrations

SAML Overview

Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) is an open standard for exchanging authentication and authorization data between systems, in particular, between an identity provider and a service provider.

HqO uses SAML certs and signing SAML Response based on those certs. Base 64 is used to encrypt the SAML response.

The identity provider in HqO’s SAML integrations is HqO and the service provider is the web-based third-party provider. For additional security, HqO provides third-parties with a data certificate and a data key to authorize requests to the provider.

HqO & SAML

HqO’s SAML Partner integrations leverage a partner's webview experience and allows you as the user to have a seamless experience of being automatically logged into the partner’s interface while mirroring the users' current experience in the partners' application.

Mobile App Experience
