Accepting Apple Program License Agreements

Apple periodically updates its Program License Agreement, which must be accepted by Account Holders to maintain access to the Apple Developer Program. Apple notifies Account Holders via email when a new agreement is available.

Who Can Accept the Agreement?

For client-owned Apple Developer accounts, only the Account Holder can accept the agreement. HqO cannot accept it on behalf of clients because it requires logging in with the designated Apple Developer credentials.

Steps to Accept the Agreement

  1. Sign In: Go to the Apple Developer portal and log in using your Apple Developer account credentials.

  2. Review Agreements: Navigate to the Agreements and Guidelines section to access the latest Program License Agreement.

  3. Accept Terms: Follow the on-screen instructions to review and accept the updated terms.

Important Considerations

  • Timely Acceptance: Prompt acceptance of the updated agreement ensures uninterrupted access to your Apple Developer Account and the ability to submit new apps or updates.

  • Agreement Details: The Apple Developer Program License Agreement outlines the terms and conditions for using Apple software and services to develop and distribute applications. It includes definitions, permitted uses, restrictions, and obligations. For detailed information, refer to the full agreement.
