Deep Link Overview

Integration includes a link in app that will bring the user to a third-party app, and if the user doesn’t have the app downloaded, it will take them to the relevant app in the app store.

This may require 3rd party to provide specific navigation targets and may be used in scenarios where 3rd party has a rich user experience.

HqO & Deep Links

HqO’s deep link Integrations include a link in the app that will bring users to a third-party app. If the user doesn’t have the app downloaded, it will take them to the relevant app in the App Store/Google Play. Typically this is used when the 3rd party provider cannot support a SAML integration (due to the complexity of their product), but HqO does not have an API/SDK integration.

Mobile App Experience

• User is able to view third-party websites/apps without being taken out of their HqO app.

HqO Admin Experience

• Admin is able to create Deep link integration as a utility button.

Configuring Deep Links

To add a Deep Link URL to the a Utility Button, please provide the URL to your HqO Customer Success Manager to add to the Utility Button. If you are not certain what the URL is, the 3rd party provider should be able to provide this to your team.
