Neartail Overview

Neartail is a menu creation tool that allows merchants to build their own custom, mobile-friendly menus.

Neartail & HqO

HqO does not have an official integration with Neartail, however, HqO does support the ability to host mobile Neartail menus in our app via a linkout utility button.

Configuring Neartail

Use of Neartail is dependent on the restaurant or cafe that you would like to appear in your app via Neartail. Neartail is an ideal solution for smaller vendors who do not have an online ordering presence, restaurants with a static menu, and catering companies.

You can start the Neartail integration by discussing the following with your vendor:

• An overview of the HqO app and how they could participate

• A review of Neartail, based on the functionality of their website

• How the vendor will receive and process Neartail’s email-only online orders

  • Orders submitted by users via HqO/Neartail are sent to the restaurant over email only

• When the restaurant would be able to start receiving orders

• Option for the user to enter their credit card info to pay online or to pay at the register

• Who the main point of contact should be at the restaurant to start building their menu in Neartail

  • Who will manage the menu long-term

• Review of the pricing structure

  • Neartail utilizes Stripe, which charges 2.9% + 30 cents per transaction

  • No commission
